ABOUT



Born in 2001 in Wuhan, China, Yutong Wang (they/them) are a Chinese multimedia artist and designer based in Cambridge, MA.


Yutong are currently a first-year student in the Master in Design Studies, Mediums program at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. In May 2023, they received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where they double majored in Interactive Media Arts and Art History.


Yutong consistently explore unconventional interactions with the human body through their evolving new media works, which encompass immersive experiences, interactive installations, audiovisual performances, and creative coding projects. Their works have been featured in exhibitions at the NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program, theBlanc Gallery, Wonderville, and Elevator Shanghai.


In addition to their creative pursuits, Yutong also engage in the academic study of Art History with a focus on contemporary photography within the context of gender studies. They aspire to integrate their focus in this field into the research for their creative projects.
